Plant Concerts
Listen as the artist connects nature to sound! Equipped with computers, synths and homemade music machines, the artists Bo Thorning, Anders Børup and Andreas Wetterberg offer an electronic plant concert.
The plant concert band has developed electrodes to connect to a collection of plants which convert touch on leaves and branches into sound. All the plants in the installation are connected to a score made of epic soundscapes, calm nature, and mechanical beats.
At the performances you can try playing on the interactive plants yourself in a strange, sensory universe between plant, human and machine.
Experience a collection of plants with electrodes that transform the proximity and touch of leaves and branches into sound. Along the way, the artists will build, adjust and play on the singing plants.
Using the plants as a medium for interaction and questions about how plants behave and coexist plant concerts foster human-plant-machine interaction.
